Gross exposure refers to the absolute total of a fund’s investments and indicates the Fund’s total exposure to financial markets. It is calculated by adding the absolute value of Fund’s long and short positions. A higher gross exposure indicates increased leverage and provides an insight into amount of risk that is being taken.
